The South Island Farmer of the Year 2016 Winner’s Field Day
Hosted by Neil and Lyn Campbell, Fairlie, South Canterbury took place on Monday 3rd April 2017.
The event commenced at the Fairlie Community Centre, Fairlie, South Canterbury, with a tour of the Campbell’s farm, and then ended back at Fairlie Community Centre.
The attendees found out why the judges praised their “efficient, incredibly flexible and adaptive” approach that generates the most profit at the most effective point of time. They enjoyed an insight into this highly praised farm and found out what makes a winning farm business.
There was discussion with some of the leading agri-business speakers, and the day was designed to inspire and give practical ideas and knowledge to benefit your own business.
